The Department of Biology has designated Myers Hall 060 as a lactation room. The room is private, clean, and open for use by department members and guests. It is equipped with multiple electrical outlets and can accommodate two pumps.
If you wish to use the room, contact Irene Newton or Farrah Bashey-Visser to be added to the Google calendar.
A key card is required to access the room. To obtain a key card, provide a scan or copy of the front of your IU ID card to biofacil@indiana.edu. Any concerns about using the room can be directed to Irene Newton and Farrah Bashey-Visser.
Indiana University provides several additional lactation rooms on campus in order to support faculty, staff, and students who are breastfeeding mothers. Each room is secure, clean, and easy to use.
