Dry ice is kept in the Jordan Hall Stock Room (JH A003) and can be obtained during regular operating hours. Dry ice is also available to those who need it when the stockroom is closed (evenings and weekends).

The after-hours dry ice supply is located in the locked dry ice/liquid nitrogen closet in the hallway in Jordan Hall.

Most Jordan Hall room keys and Myers Hall lab keys will unlock the closet. Simon Hall occupants or other lab personnel who do not have a JH or MY key may pick up a key from the Biology Service Center in JH A003. You may wish to consider getting a key that can be kept in a common area of the lab for those who may occasionally need after-hours access to dry ice.

If you know you will need access to the dry ice closet after hours, we encourage you to confirm ahead of time that your key indeed opens the closet.
