Established in 2012 by Jean Robinson Peters to honor the memory of her father, Sid Robinson, an Olympic track star who became an internationally famous exercise and environmental physiologist. The scholarship was first awarded in 2016.
Robinson Scholarship Requirements
Open to Direct Admit students who have a declared major in the IUB Department of Biology. Students must be in their first year on the Bloomington campus at the time of application, have sophomore status at the start of the fall 2019 semester, and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.
$4,000 and might be renewable for two additional academic years, providing the student is in good academic standing and is making progress towards his/her degree. Recipients eligible for renewal will be given special instructions for the renewal process.
