This scholarship was established in the 1980s to honor Professor Emeritus P. Sears Crowell, Jr. The scholarship allows a student to attend a marine lab or field station approved by the Department of Biology.
Any graduate student with a major from the IUB Department of Biology. Available to students enrolling in an internship program or course at a marine lab or field station.
Up to $2,500. Amount varies based on income accrual in this account.

One letter of recommendation must be submitted by the applicant’s major research professor.
