This fellowship was established thanks to George W. Brackenridge who deeded land to Indiana University in 1915.
Brackenridge Fellowship Requirements
Any graduate student earning a degree from the IUB Department of Biology who is engaged in field work.
$2,500. This competitive award will be disbursed during the summer.

Include a statement detailing your career goals, how the field work experience will help you achieve those goals, and the expenses involved in the field project.
One letter of recommendation must be submitted by the applicant’s major research professor.
