IUB Department of Biology graduate students in Plant Biology or Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior.
Candidates should be in good academic standing and have financial need. First preference is given to qualified candidates who have Indiana residency. Not sure you are a resident? See the Rules Determining Resident and Nonresident Student Status on the Registrar’s website.
Recipient MUST be willing to prepare and present a program to the club at a mutually agreed upon time, usually the following spring.
Award amounts vary from year to year. Most Department of Biology awards are between $500 and $3000; a few are larger.
Applications open on January 20, 2022, and close on March 16, 2022.
Application materials will include a minimum of your curriculum vitae, personal statement, and a letter of recommendation.

Faculty/Postdoc Fellows: Student applicants provide the name and email address of the recommender as part of their scholarship/fellowship applications. Recommenders will receive an email notification from the IU awards application system with instructions for submitting letters of recommendation.
Recipients of this award will be recognized at a student awards ceremony to be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. in Biology Bldg. A100.
