I collaborate with the laboratory of Troy Smith studying genetic mechanisms that underlie sexual dimorphism in communication signals of South American electric fishes.
I teach courses related to the molecular, neural, and evolutionary mechanisms that influence animal behaviors. Many of these courses are generally aligned with the Animal Behavior Major (ABEH), and are designed to be accessible to students with a wide range of academic backgrounds.
ABEH-A401/BIOL-L410 - Behavioral genetics and epigenetics
BIOL-L423 - Brain, behavior and evolution
BIOL-L318 - Evolution
